\"\"Aitkin resident Patrick Murphy currently serves as President of the Aitkin County Lakes and Rivers Association, Mille Lacs Watershed Board, Long Lake Conservation Foundation Board and is an active member of Dam Lake Sportsman Club. Recently\u00a0elected to the Mille Lacs Energy Cooperative Board of Directors\u00a0and\u00a0Glen Township Board of Supervisors in November 2024.\u00a0<\/p>

Patrick brings over 40 years of experience, including 23 years in airline operations and 25 years in transportation, global logistics, distribution, customer service management and budgets. Patrick embraces the importance of the workflow processes and efficiencies needed to keep our annual Aitkin County budget on track. He recently retired as Vice President of Operations at Raveill Trucking Inc. in McGregor, MN.<\/p>

Patrick joined the Aitkin Growth Board of Directors in 2019, driven by a growing concern over the housing shortage in Aitkin County. Since then, Aitkin Growth and Patrick has championed economic development and housing initiatives including the 44 unit Bunker Hills apartments that supports sustainable community growth in Aitkin County.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          Bethlehem Lutheran Church surprised our Dam Lake Sportsman Club when they contacted Doug Coil and informed him that every quarter they pick a non profit to support. They picked Dam Lake Sportsman this quarter because of our commitment to area youth and disabled hunters.           Aitkin County Rivers and Lakes Fair<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

          The 2026 annual Aitkin County Rivers and Lakes Fair at Long Lakes Conservation Center near Palisade MN was a complete success this year.
